These runs cannot be ordered on-line like the books in our on-line catalogue. If you are anxious to reserve a run simply phone or e-mail us and we'll hold them for you for a week (or longer if necessary) while you arrange payment and delivery with us.

Payment can be made by the usual methods (information on the Conditions of Sale page), including by sending encrypted card details through the on-line catalogue.

Single Bound And Unbound Volumes
We have a large and constantly changing stock of single volumes. If you are looking for odd years of some of these magazines (especially Railway Magazine, Railway Observer and Railway World) send us your requirements and we may well be able to help. We are also happy to help customers build up runs by sending a volume or two every month or so; many of our customers have built up fine runs this way.

Locomotives Illustrated

We usually have several hundred loose issues in stock. We do not keep a stock list as the stock is constantly changing, but we have a price list which gives the title and price of each issue. This is available printed or as a rich text file. E-mail us to request a copy.

Some issues are scarce: for these we keep waiting lists which you are welcome to join.

New Magazines

We stock the most recent issues of Archive, Railway Archive, Midland Record, LMS Journal and Southern Way; they can be ordered through the Journals section of our on-line catalogue, or directly by phone, post or in the shop. We also stock London Railway Record, but this is not available on-line.

We regret... due to limitations of space and time we have cut back on stocks of loose issues of most other magazines but can still supply Railway Magazine (though not at present as the stock is temporarily inaccessible), Trains Illustrated, Locomotives Illustrated, British Railways Journal and Industrial Railway Record.

Nor do we stock modelling magazines, except Model Railway Journal.
